Maine Video Production
Insight is a Maine video production company owned by videographer and documentary producer Ned
Lightner.
Video is used in so many ways these days. In the home, at
work, and on the web, video is an important part of our lives and the way we communicate. Quality video
is used for important events and messages.
While the cost of video equipment has made the tools of video production affordable, what makes a good quality
video are the experience and skills of the producer.
Ned Lightner has over 30 years of experience in the television and video industry. He
has been nominated for Emmies twice and has worked with many different clients on a wide range of
projects. He is also the station manager of Belfast Community TV and the video services director for the City of Belfast. Ned is the lead videographer on every project so you can be
assured of great footage and personal attention.
After shooting, Ned uses state-of-the-art producti on
equipment which allows for the efficient production of top quality videos.
Whether Insight Video Productions is capturing a wedding's special moments, producing an elaborate promotional
presentation, or developing quality TV shows, our experience shows in the quality of the finished product.
Our goal is to provide high quality video production in a cost effective manner. We approach each project as if
it were our own money being spent. We believe that careful pre-production can save money for our clients.

We enjoy working on a wide variety of projects. Past projects have ranged from a documentary for the
Friendship Sloop Society to the annual awards videos for the local chamber of commerce to video "Christmas
cards".
Families capture special moments such as weddings recitals and graduations.
Organizations capture conferences, live performances and important meetings.
Companies use video to introduce customers and new employees to
the business, provide training, market and communicate via commercials and web sites.
Internet marketers use web video to promote products.
Realtors use real estate videos to show houses to remote buyers.
Athletes use sports videos for training and competitive research.
A project may be as simple as a single camera covering a lecture at a museum, a tightly edited promotional piece
for a company trade show or a multicamera production of a television series.
Please contact us to discuss your Maine video production
