Who we are:
Insight Productions was founded in 2002 by Ned Lightner and Lora Mills.Ned Lightner has been working in the television industry for more than 25 years. He has worked in a variety of areas, from production to system design and station management. He currently works part time as a senior director and producer for PBS (Maine Public Broadcasting System). Ned edited and directed the Emmy-nominated PBS production, Laurah Darrell's "Very Special Christmas." He also served as producer of an Emmy-nominated documentary "The Challenging Ones," which features a high school English teacher.
Lora Mills has worked with Lightner on a variety of film and documentary projects since 1998. Lora is a coordinating producer and also serves as business manager for the company.
