Television CommercialsWe make many
commercials for local television, and for those of you thinking about having a
commercial made, especially if it's your first time, we thought it might be
helpful if we took you through the typical production process.
Thie
first step in the process is for us to meet with you and discuss your ideas. We
want you to tell us about your product or service, so that we can then move
toward creating a script. Perhaps you already have a clear idea of what you
want and all that is needed is some minor "tweaking." On the other hand, you
may want us to come up with an idea for a creative ad.
The next step is
to develop the script. We will present you with a script for your review and
approval. If the script is not what you had in mind, we will revise it until it
meets your standards.
Once you approve the script, we will schedule
production and gather any necessary actors, props, etc.
The next step
is production. Depending on the scope of the project, production can take as
little as two hours or as much as several days.
After filming is
complete, the footage is edited. You will be presented with a approval copy of
the ad. If changes need to be made, then a second edit will be needed. When you
are happy with the spot, copies will be made and provided to you.
This
is a pretty basic overview but hopefully it helps take some of the mystery out
of the production process. |
